The ZZ Raven (Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Raven’), commonly known as the Raven ZZ Plant, is a striking and elegant indoor plant valued for its naturally dark, glossy foliage and upright, structured growth. Its deep green to nearly black leaves create a dramatic and sophisticated appearance, making it an excellent choice for homes, offices, hotels, commercial spaces, and modern interior settings.
ZZ Raven adapts exceptionally well to indoor environments and performs best in low to bright indirect light. It is slow-growing, highly resilient, and tolerant of irregular watering, making it an excellent choice for beginners and busy plant enthusiasts.
The plant prefers well-drained soil and controlled watering. Allow the soil to dry well between watering and avoid prolonged waterlogging. Younger leaves may emerge lighter green and gradually develop their characteristic dark coloration as they mature. With its distinctive dark foliage and low-maintenance nature, ZZ Raven adds a bold and luxurious natural element to interior spaces.
